For as long as I have lived in South Haven, I have driven past the house that would eventually become Heart of The Haven Retreat Lodge. Every time I passed it, I felt myself drawn to this warm and inviting property, nestled just outside of the city limits of our cozy, quaint little beach town of South Haven. I would think to myself, “Love lives there. Love built that house!” 

When I heard through the grapevine that the longtime owners were planning to move, and the house would be listed for sale, my immediate reaction was horror – “I can’t let strangers tromp through this family home!” I was so drawn to the house that I thought maybe I was meant to be a part of its story, and after touring it for the first time, standing there in the kitchen, I knew I needed to share the peace that I was experiencing with YOU! 

I pictured retreats, I saw families coming together, finding ways to unplug from their busy lives and reconnect with each other. I saw the opportunity for teams and small businesses to get creative, bond, and focus together. I envision this being the perfect setting for a party, a workshop, or a gathering, where many guests can all be accommodated comfortably overnight or simply enjoy the property as a “Day Space” for a holiday gathering or special event.

In short, Heart of The Haven Retreat Lodge is the perfect place for growth, peace, and grace. I want to personally invite you to experience it for yourself!
